Healthy Dairy Free and Sugar Free Hot Chocolate

·

You guys! I LOVE hot chocolate! This recipe is SO easy to whip up - you will be enjoying the most delicious, decadent, and smooth hot chocolate in 10 minutes. The best part is that it is ONLY 73 calories! Can you believe it!? I mean, it DOES NOT get any better than that!

I know I always say this… but seriously, no one is going to believe that there is ZERO sugar in this hot chocolate recipe - or that it is under 80 calories. I can barely believe it myself! Plus, it is also ONE NET CARB! Woohoo! This hot chocolate tastes amazing on its own, or topped with some homemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can even throw some marshmallows in it!

I mean, just imagine you sitting on your couch curled up until a fuzzy throw blanket, watching TV or reading a good book and sipping on this amazing guilt free hot chocolate! It is cold outside - so go ahead and get cozy!

What is your favorite thing to do while drinking a decadent hot chocolate? Perhaps you like to drink it while you are wandering around looking at Christmas lights, or curled up reading book or watching TV. Maybe you like to sip on it while you work? I enjoy it at all of the above activities! Let me know if I missed any activity and tell me how you like to enjoy it! I am currently working (on my website) while I sip my hot chocolate that is topped with my homemade whipped cream and just a sprinkle of cinnamon. What is your favorite hot chocolate topping? I usually enjoy it as is but today I wanted something a little more indulgent to warm my soul on this cold November day. Let me know how you like it, I am always down to try new things. Especially if that involves hot chocolate.

You could be sipping on this healthy hot chocolate recipe in only ten minutes, and the best part is that it is customizable! You like it a little bit more on the sweeter side? Just add more sweetener until it is as sweet as you like it! This recipe is SO easy to make at any time and so quick. And you guys know how much I like an easy clean up, this hot chocolate recipe is so amazing because all you need is one pot to warm up all of your hot chocolate ingredients and your done! I just rinse out my pot and throw it into the dishwasher and away I go to sip on my hot chocolate and curl up in front of a movie. Or watch 90 day fiance. I do love me some 90 day fiance - please tell me if you watch it too! I need someone to talk about it with.

Ok, have you guys seen this craze for hot chocolate bombs?! They look amazing but when I was gifted one - of course I immediately made it - I was a little disappointed. Maybe my milk was not hot enough, but I think it was! It was very hot. The ‘bomb’ part (the chocolate shell) did not melt completely. It left me with these little chocolate chunks floating around in my hot chocolate. While this is not the worst thing in the world (you know I am not one to complain about chocolate) it was not what I wanted it to be with all of that hype. And honestly, the one I was gifted was pretty mediocre hot chocolate. Maybe it was just the one that I happened to try, have you tried one? Was it worth all of that hype to you? Hopefully you had a better quality one then I did. I feel like I could just make one myself, but that is also a lot of effort just for myself! Maybe if I were gifting it to someone. Let me know if you tried one and what you thought of it!
